This isn't a happy fantasy like all the other generic ones where everything goes well for them. This is a fantasy where it has semi realistic aspects with a reasonable main character who doesn't hold all the cards in their deck. She is playing safe while putting her priorities at bay. Why should she trust the random kid who betrayed orders for her? The kid who she knows will betray her sooner or later?
The romance development felt really forced but the confession was nice at least, I still don't have any attachment to this story so I hope it develops a lot more unless this is the end :/
It has such a good premise and flow at the start but idk the FL is so... bland and boring and lowkey annoying.... The author is basically stalling the actual plot at this point unless we're going the romance route which I hope to God it doesn't happen.
It was so random??? Where did it even come from??? Him starting to get feelings came out of nowhere or was I just turning off my brain during lead up??? I dont have any particular feelings and idk if an ML was even necessary but i still love this series so
