Won't make sense unless you read Despair, which is unfortunately discontinued.

Those two stories are the kinda of fucked up you have to like and be okay with it to enjoy. It's not for people that want fluff and healthy relationships.

I read the author's most recent one asw "Unholy", I thought that was pretty good but this one makes no sense to me whatsoever, I might read despair but ppl r telling me it's cancelled which is kind of a letdown, Either way I didn't think this was bad tbfh

dennis was going to leave because his job was done. he asks todd if he'll be here next summer and todd says yes. him and todd promise to meet at a village tavern later that day. dennis goes back to the person who gave him the job. the man asks him if anything happened, dennis remembering how he shot the sheep lies and says no. he then says that his "stay got boring in the middle but he felt fine because of his new friends". the man asks "what friends", dennis says "someone who comes to hunt on the mountain". the man freezes, he starts shouting at dennis that he's a dumbass (RIGHTFULLY SO) and that dennis should've listened when he told him to "trust only the sheep". the man tells him to go back to the farm asap. dennis is still in shock and doesnt want ot believe the man but he goes anyways. when he arrives at the field, it is entirely covered with blood. he follows the trail of blood to the edge of a cliff. he tries to get closer to the edge but his horse doesnt want to follow (AGAIN RIGHTFULLY SO). dennis hears todd's voice calling him, telling him to come closer (to the cliff) and that he misses him. dennis on the very edge of the cliff starts crying, and tbh i have no clue what he was talking abt here. smth smth i love u and if i had known i was being deceived from the beginning. at the end tho he says "so i promise u again" and then he jumps off of the edge of the cliff. the horse looks at the camera then runs away into the snow. the end.
