I get that he was not in a good place for everything that happened with him. But, now, when she is reaching out again… he doesn’t seem interested in making this work. You know like someone who is in love with the idea of “what could have been if I did this or that then” but are not interested in “I can take a chance and do this and that now and may be it will work” I see nothing but a sense of longing to what could have been not what he can make out if it. And that’s just feels a relationship is dead and over with. He might be interested in saying, “sorry, I did that” but not, “sorry, I did that and may be a chance to make this work again”.
Also, the Dohwa part feels unnecessary forced if he is not the endgame. Like a torment for no reason.
This is what I say when someone is in a toxic relationship like this one…

You can’t expect yourself to keep loving the person yet not become exhausted and depressed yourself. These type of relationships drains you. And Elise becoming tired of this is genuine and very realistic. I don’t know how other manhwas are like… he treated you so bad and yet you stay with him because he said, “sorry”. The truth is… you can’t. You get drained and I don’t think you would have the energy to deal with the smallest of actions that may trigger your trauma against the person who inflicted this. They need to move out of this zone that woman suffer crazy and then live happily ever after with their trauma inflictors and yet be mentally sane without the inflictor showing proper improvement or she getting the time to work on herself.
I hope at the end Elise doesn’t end up with him. Not at least after he r*p*s her (according to other spoilers)

It seems like it’s going no where. Unnecessary Dohwa or Eunhyuk arc. It could have been either one atp. If I could just find a spoiler about the ending, I could just stop reading it. I just want to get over with this one now,
