He never used it/ or it was clean. Most ppl when they are depressed have little to none of a sex drive. In chapter three he said he was rusty with his hands. He barely had the energy to climb over some trash bag. How would he have the energy to use it? It's a lot of prep work to use that. My mans barely take a shower. That is just my two cents.
