Random ass amnesia halfway or at the end of the story (yes it just happened and i hate it)
Random long time skips that isn’t even important to the story (ahem - true love operation fucking eye roll) also playboy x virgin
love triangles, like if the 2nd mc won't end up with me then don't let them suffer (╬￣皿￣)
outside of the usual ones (rape to love, saying no during sex, teacher-student, etc) i have an irrational hatred for buff pretty blonde obsessive tops. i also dont rly like fake dating stories, idk why. the "they actually met in childhood but one or both of them didnt know it" trope when its shoehorned in.
omg especially when they make the 2nd ml super good… i usually hate when there’s a second ml because it’s do unnecessary but i fell in love with a few of them and it hurts so bad
the last one is so real., especially when it adds nothing to the plot

For me it's stupid misunderstandings that doesn't even make sense which is really annoying. Feels like the author js put in anything to make it complex. Also triangles of any sort and the bitch ass red flag ml being chosen every single time
a fem main character SUDDENLY becomes pregnant and that’s now her entire personality and theres nothing abt her character thats anything but thay now (im looking at u random wattpad mcs and millie from helluva boss….) if ur gonna have a girl character at least give her something that isnt just what benefits the men/new child around her . but also amnesia and random rape insert (champagne and roses…)

back on the little old app webcomics i remember reading this chinese manhua and it was so good but i just cant remember the name, like im not even sure if its real… it’s this fl and ml, ml is blind but is in an arranged (?) marriage with fl. i only remember these two scenes, one where in the middle of the night ml wants to go get water and as he does so fl comes out her room and he drops his cup. the second one was him showering and calling for help and the fl runs in but immediately runs out upon seeing him naked

after years of trial and error, i have discovered a foolproof method. avoid any manga in which the cover is someone groping another person's chest from behind. 99.99% of them are rape slop.
