Recently finished reading the novel for this and yeah ml is trashy but honestly…. I’ve read worse so his actions don’t even come off as too bad (I’m afraid I’ve become desensitised with all the black and red flags I’ve read)
In my opinion, Mc’s personality doesn’t transition very well from novel to manhwa. In the novel you get insight to his (mc’s) thoughts and reasonings and the manhwa is missing that. Here he’s coming of as naive (which he is to certain extent) but he’s also just really laid back and has a go-with-the-flow type of attitude. I can tell already that readers here won’t be happy with mc’s attitude and approach with the whole r*pe situation in this ch.
SPOILERS//// he pretty much brushes it off. He’s a bit upset that ML ‘smashed and dashed’ him but he’s not really upset at the actual act itself. Idk if that makes sense. Like this boy was more pissed that ML doesn’t text him afterwards. He does acknowledge that he got non-conned but he’s also like ‘wellll I didn’t hate it either/it did feel good’.He does make ml apologise for it though and he moves on pretty easily after that. ML is just super slow at realising he’s in love with mc even though he dies a whole lot of stuff he wouldn’t usually do. The novel is like a 6 or 7/10 imo but the sexy times hot af and well written those scenes get a separate rating if 10/10 lol
