from what I've read and understand from the novel the ml broke up with his 3 wives because of some problem that came up then after that there was a time when fl and ml got wasted or got drunk they both had sex then after that the fl got pregnant then she ran away from the ml because she was guilty or something then she gave birth then finally the ml found her but the fl don't want her child, then little by little the ml kept courting her then I stopped reading after that.
