The author REALLy tried to make the mc “complex” and tried to add “depths”, but absolutely no, he’s a piece of shit.
First of all, short black haired guy was getting bullied only because of the mc btw, because indirectly it did influence everything. I’m not saying the mc should be absolutely excessively guilty, but he has the RIGHT to stand up or at least ACKNOWLEDGE it was his fault and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Instead he made it ALL ABOUT HIM. I hate these types of people. That guy was vigorously bullied, yet he wants to be your friend. No matter what, he’s doing WORSE THAN YOU CLEARLY!! You don’t need to stand up at least apologise and feel sorry for HIM NOT YOU. We do not care if you actually harbour feelings for that guy, clearly he’s being a great boyfriend! He’s doing the role of an abusive husband perfectly! Logically speaking you shouldn’t even have a crush on a guy like that after what you saw and how he behaves still. Idk man this is not at all complex just messed up. It’s definitely not human, the mc is MADE to be unlikable. If that’s the case I’m reading. I’m reading only for Yohan. If I was Yohan I wouldn’t fuck w this selfish twink. But I understand that he’s made to be unlikable because clearly I will not condone or call this character “good”. I’m not asking him to be a “very good i stand up for every bully justice is served!” type of guy but at least have some sort of kindness?
