This story has interesting concepts but it's confusing. We know there are monsters and that it is an apocalypse but we don't have any information on how the apocalypse started are these chimera mutant creatures, aliens or what. We have our MC who in the beginning was all hiding his power and refusing to get involved with competing for power and then in the next chapter he's challenging some of the underlings of the boss of the area. We have a healer who is being tortured instead of being treated and a plethora of other abusive behavior that should have had a settlement like this broken down inside of a month. It's all very convoluted and I feel almost like I started this story at chapter 20 instead of chapter 1
