I love toxic yaoi… the only thing that pissed me off were the fucking translator notes!!!! sure, after the first 8 chapters they stopped putting them during the actual comic (thank fucking god) but the long fucking opening and ending notes??? the ending notes fucking ADVERTISING YOUR OWN REWRITE OF THE STORY TO MAKE IT “BETTER”????
who the fuck do you think you are, like, actually, translator. Do you think you’re better than people because you know how oh so toxic and abusive the relationship in this manhwa is and hold yourself to such a high standard of “morality” and self-righteousness for recognizing how “awful” these things are?
no shit it’s toxic and abusive. every fucking person reading it knows it. the difference is that they don’t try to act like some pillar of righteousness for recognizing the obvious because they KNOW that it’s fucking FICTIONAL.
and advertising your own writing at the end of every chapter, it being a fucking rewrite of the manhwa you’re translating? how goddamn disrespectful can you be? do you even realize how disrespectful it is to do that or has your wonderful white-knighting for fictional characters made you think that you’d be in the right for essentially calling the story you’re willingly translating and posting “wrong” and “bad”? I’m glad you at least finished translating and posting this so people could actually read something good and well written, which i’m sure your fanfiction isn’t, given how painful all of your translator notes were to read. I even decided to take a glance at the fanfiction! I read the first and the most recent chapter and, wow, you really thought you did something, huh? the ads you shamelessly injected into the end of every episode of this manhwa made it sound like it should be good, but i don’t know what i expected from someone who seems to care about fictional characters as if they were real people, and disrespects real people by calling their art “bad” and rewriting it about ten times shittier.
Anyways! This manhwa is actually so phenomenal. the character depth in both of them is really great, I loved how gradual minho’s descent into a Stockholm-adjacent mental state was, it felt organic. Wookyung’s insanity was also the best to read. His mind… his actions… so fucked up… gah i love him… remind me to kill his mom tho, k? i hope wookyung and minho stay together forever in their cyclical, mentally degrading, toxic relationship, to the point where minho genuinely deludes himself into believing he’s happy with wookyung
ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ so beautiful… so wonderful… so incredible… i’d read 100 chapters of this, but the story wrapped up quite nicely in only 37 lololol
