Can someone explain what exactly "Mr. Blue BL Short Stories" is? I'm curious about how these stories are all tied together with different artists. It's exquisitely interesting.

I first read this in middle school!! It's way shorter than I remember but also WAY cuter the nostalgia is hitting HARD.

i remember reading this on a different site 10 years ago! this story was my intro to webtoon/manhwa. i went to the author's twitter and their last update was in 2019 and they haven't had any new work since... i hope they're doing ok...

So I tried to find out more and...

1. The author mentioned side stories for the last time in late 2017/early 2018. Their last actual twt was about the publishing of the Italian(?) Translation, the rest are retwts. They only said something along the lines of "I'll be preparing! Wait for the side stories!"
2. The author was VERY passionate about the L3zhin movement from 2018. L3zhin was exposed for shady practices (such as having blacklisted and exploited authors) and a series of protests followed, with some authors taking breaks. The author talked about being at protests, retwted hundreds of twts about unions/orgs, and even drunk posted about the movement. From 2018 to 2019 the author retwted about the movement, with nothing about the side stories being mentioned. They never mentioned anything about other stories or the side stories since. Makes me think they might have protested by not uploading anything. This is me speculating though.
3. Since 2019 the author has not been active online or at least not active on twt. No statement why and no updates. I can't tell what happened to them either, as it seems not even Korean readers know about their whereabouts. There were updates to the movement in 2020 but those updates weren't retwted, making me think that the author had life events happened that have taken their time up. Either they are now working an average 9-5, working under a new name (they were extremely harsh during the movement and that could've made them change pen names to publish elsewhere), or are just no longer around for personal reasons (let's hope the author is in good health). Ppl also left comments as recently as early 2025, with no response from the author, so they don't seem to be checking the account.

My hope is that the author may return one day to either give an update on themselves, release a new story, or release the side stories. I think they're a great artist and storyteller, so it would be a shame to never hear from them again. But realistically, with zero updates since 2019 and even Korean readers having no info, it seems the author is not going to return to give the side stories. ┗( T﹏T )┛

due to the number of illegal readers and lack of people purchasing these chapters, authors are struggling to make ends meet and keep up with creating these stories. as a result, many stories are being cut short and given rushed endings.

Alright im gonna start with the fact that I've bought every single chapter so far out of love for this author. But these 2 chapters definitely could have had a few panels removed and been completed in 1. Like I dont mean to sound rude but its starting to come off more as stretching the story for monetary purposes rather than continuing the flow of the story. The lack of progress after that huge break is frustrating. Anyone else? Feel free to disagree though

1. the official translation of the title is so stupid i wish they would just directly translate it or at least do a clever spin on it

2. the first quarter of the novel is the worst in terms of freaky stuff, oddly enough the rest of the story is like kinda wholesome??? LOL i mean that relatively of course but the top actually is so in “love” with the bottom, he’ll look scary and be like ‘shut the fuck up and stop crying or i’ll kill you’ but he’s really gently wiping the bottom’s tears lmao

3. i like the twist at the end where the top discovers something that would free the bottom of his trauma but he decides to bury it so that the bottom will stay with him forever
