This is a very realistic plot though I'm enjoying it a lot. They both have an anxious type of attachment style. They're bad at communicating especially their true feelings and that has led to many messes before. We're gonna act like the first thirty chapters don't exist but anyway. Japan still hasn't legalized same sex marriage. Being queer still isn't seen as okay often. They're a very strict society with strict rules and if you deviate you're not a good person both men and women have expectations. Go to school, graduate, go to college or directly into the workforce, find a partner, marry and have children. That's it. If you're different you can be seen as a nuisance and anything considered an inconvenience is very frowned upon. It's like there's strict social mask and outfit you have to wear and they're feeling the pressure of it seriously. I especially understand coming out to his grandmother and mother. I'm also very interested in Takamada's past.. we don't know much. Of his family or the other people around him. What we do know it's going to be extremely dark and traumatizing
