The plot has gotten complicated so I'm just barely keeping a loose grip of everything. I think it will be easier to understand everything binging it after it's done
but I don't really want to reread everything (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜 maybe I'll wait until it's completed
Interesting story, good development, nice art, good characters. Ending wrapped up quite well but the extra actually made it seem more abrupt to me? Like they were prepping it for a sequel but it never happened
honestly I'm sick of rape as a plot device. Unless it's straight pwp I'm so tired of it. And this one actually had interesting characters but it got ruined
But maybe this will help move the plot along. I'm kind of over Kirara being dunked on tbh. I don't need perfect mcs but everyone in the manga is constantly talking about how stupid/immature/lazy/annoying he is. Last several chapters I feel like we don't see any of his good sides besides being cute...maybe just bc it's been a while since I've read through the whole thing ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I'm not as upset as some commenters but the story is meh w/cute mc doing the heavy-lifting. I thought they'd at least give ml some kind of good reason for acting like an ass, like legit trauma/family pressure/fear of career scandal/etc...but it was just "I was scared bc of (assumed) unrequited love so I treated you like dirt"( ̄へ ̄)lame af
Atmosphere is great too. Story is a bit cliche but has enough uniqueness to keep you interested. Really good so far!
I'm sure we'll get some boohoo backstory justifying why he hurt & ghosted his supposed friend (childhood trauma? internalized homophobia?) & continues to act like an ass but idk( ̄へ ̄)one of those stories where you wish the mc would just move past the guy wasting his time & find someone better
I'm curious about how their (casual) relationship broke up! Art is good too
Yeah the formatting is not ideal but tbh I don't think it's as bad as people are saying. The chapters are really short tho so you may want to wait until it's further along to read
I know we gotta hear the back story but I'm ready for them to go back to modern day (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
They're so good about expressing the different storylines of people so it shows their flaws but also their growth and realizations. The kid w/his missing dad, the girl & her grandma, the farmer & his estranged daughter, Haebom's dad...good people can still do the wrong thing. What matters is accepting your mistakes and trying to be better for the people around you
It def has some flaws bc the author went heavy on the whump/angsty tropes (abused omega, mistreated by family, kicked out & starving, multiple sexual assaults, inferiority complex, etc), but the positives are Haruto being an absolute gem, the realism that w/all his shit Miyabi still struggles but shows his resilience as he heals & grows. The romance & chemistry is super sweet and the art is gorgeous
Glaring mistake from the author imo to do a redemption arc for the brother when the issue was as serious as sexual assault. It would have been more reasonable if it was "just" bullying (as brainwashed by the dad) : Tbh this story reminds me a lot of fanfic lol so I think it's a bit cliche/outdated & that shows in the author's approach to some things
Overall still very enjoyable to read if you don't take it too seriously
like sextortion & cheater ml...but this author's art is so sexy
