Yeah where's the rest

Monster hikaru, in the long run, will defy its nature of being a worthless void, because the longer he resides in human hikaru's body, the more he learns the value and the meaning of life. He soon realizes his sole purpose of owning Hikaru's body, and that is to stay by Yoshiki's side, a wish the human Hikaru might have wished for before he died in the mountains.

Yoshiki on the other hand, who romantically fell in love with Human Hikaru, will instead, develop a deeper onnection towards new "Hikaru". A connection that is beyond romantic love. It's even greater to what he felt for his dead best friend, and these feelings can transcend life and death, and calling it "love or like" is an understatement.

Yoshiki as now a mixed being (still human tho) and Hikaru as an evil monster/god, will be an invincible duo who won't care about what the villagers think, going around closing spirit holes and beating up impurities with their paranormal team. Yoshiki and Hikaru may act bolder and more comfortable with each other in school, and a bit "sus" at some point in front of their friends and family. It may look gay. But it's not gay. It's just the way they are.

Anyway, the company, after finding out some paranormal shit happening more frequently, haunts down monster Hikaru. They try to exorcise him, sending monster Hikaru back to the afterlife or darkness. Yoshiki does all his might to stop "Hikaru" from disappearing.

During the process, Yoshiki crosses over the line between life and death, and sees the real Hikaru, his dead best friend's spirit. They might have a conversation, like an epiphany, talking about their childhood. At one point, a hint of confession might happen. Yoshiki longs to die so he can be together with Hikaru in "paradise."

But then, suddenly, "Hikaru" calls out to him in his wiggly tentacles monster form. Yoshiki struggles with a decision, and relives the moment he spends with monster Hikaru. In the end, he chooses the monster Hikaru, and mixes with him completely.

Yoshiki won't survive. He leaves the mortal world with "Hikaru". The two of them die, their family and friends grieving for the loss of two teenagers in their small town.

Monster Hikaru disappears and goes back to the mountain as a god/spirit or whatever his original form is. Yoshiki's soul comes with him. There is a tree in the mountains where their names are written. A sunflower grows at the roots in the summer and it never dies until winter.
