Guys chapter 35-36 are personally the most HORRIFYING chapters in the whole series: now we have this incredibile smart, beautiful and assertive woman, ruinng her whole life because she has unresolved childhood trauma, never got the theraupetic help she needed nor any loved ones to stay by her side and help her cope with it, and because of that she's left with dealing it and fighting it by herself, resulting in the use of bad defense and coping mechanism to just feel like her deatroyed life has still meaning.
We see her centering her whole personality, body, soul, life style over a disgusting man thinking that this will actually fix all her problems but desperatly hoping for justice to be made.
Something we see her do is not caring/beliving in true love, only seeing sex as a mean for revenge and an ego boost from the power mind trip she's excpierincing over dominating other men, sex does not equal love but Is a tool under her eyes, so her, keeping her own virginity is the ultimate hope for finding someone who actually cares about her and accepts for who she really is, not for who she has become and made herself be for the sake of revenge
Her relationship with the stalker (i don't remember the name) was that small light at the end of the tunnel thinking that finally she also in capable of loving and being loved, giving her a new meaning in her life outside of revenge, turns out it wasnt actually love and she's left worse than before.
So-mi, the protagonist, is left alone with her defense mechanisms and resorts to drinking, but the blonde guy happened to find her during her worst and most impulsive she has ever been, and over a drunken mistake she gives her virginity to him, a random guy she does not care about and only sees has utility for her own revenge, someone who she WOULD NEVER, not at this moment in the relationship at least, see as a loving partner, even if he cares about her, she does not belive he actually sees her for who she really is or is even worth giving affection to, because she has trust issues after the whole stalker fiasco.
Also giving him her virginity resulted in a meaningful and dreadful moment where she stopped hoping to find real love, but instead only sees it as a myth, an unattainable fantasy, resulting in one of her few things that gave her meaning as a human being, worthless.
And of course after the sex the person So-mi hates the most in the room, is herself.
Babygirl, So-mi, please i beg you, start therapy and i hope she actually gets to find someone who really cares about her and accepts her for who she is, and most importantly, Is able ti be patient and show her what human love really is.
