I would be able to get past all the immoral stuff if the story was good at least but nah
Familial relationship turned sexual between step-brothers with age difference?…
Sign me the fuck in.
I absolutely love this manga, I swear I could re-read it a hundred times. I love how their relationship starts in such a twisted way to later develop into somewhat healthy dynamic (especially from Haru’s side, starting to communicate and manage his anger).
Also, people complaining about Haru are forgetting that Misaki is constantly talking about liking the rough treatment lol, they’re sick and twisted TOGETHER and I love it for them. Misaki is also twisted in his own way is just not as noticeable because he’s in the receiving end of things, what matters is that they worked through their problems and THEY LOVE EACHOTHER AGGHHH.
Sometimes you need to turn your brains off and enjoy your toxic yaoi, I do not condone this dynamic in real life but they’re not real which is what makes it appealing hell yeah toxic violent yaoi I love you.
This is going to sound so dumb but I love the sex scenes in this manhwa because the top MOANS it’s not common, usually sex in BL feels like “the top doing something to the bottom” and not like an act they’re doing together if you get what I mean? It feels so intimate and real in this manhwa I love them so much
I know about the scandal with the previous artist but oh my god did the author have to pick the artist with the ugliest artstyle? Didn’t they have any more options? Dude looks like a lab grown yaoi bottom and the sex scenes are soooo uncomfortable to see
I swear I’m not usually this mean but the huge quality drop regarding the art style makes me so mad because god DAMN they’re ugly
I understand the points some people are making about this manga, yeah it’s kind of fucked up, but as the author said (if I remember well) they enjoy stories about recovering from trauma. I may be overanalizing this but Sui wanting to use the shackles and engage in sexual activity to be able to sleep isn’t all that weird. He endured terrible trauma, a lot of abuse victims will seek things that comforted them during the time they were being abused even if they’re safe now, because it’s a long process to live normally after that. I really do think “Demon” had no ill intention, like he genuinely doesn’t have the tools to help Sui deal with that trauma realistically because 1. The context of the world they live in and 2. It’s a bl manga and not a good place if ur looking for realism.
I personally like this author because I like calm, lighthearted stories without much drama, but I also understand why people dislike some of their work. Anyways, I’m looking forward to see the characters heal and progress!
