Forcing him to carry everybody luggage is straight ass bullying
I was once forced to put in my backpack 4l of water for people to drink (I wouldn't drink it because I don't drink tap water from random places) and nobody was drinking from those anyway because they would first drink from bottles that they were carrying, add to this my water that I brought for myself and my luggage for 40km hike in the mountains. I'm a woman who had the worst physical condition in the group, and I known how to call bs when I see it. So main character should just kick their asses and quit, because they won't understand anything anyway
