The art is gorgeous and the characters are great designs and like the age gap isn’t even bad I just can’t get over this 25 yr old man had this high school kid with him for a year with a relationship that to me seemed familiar and but like all of a sudden it’s a 2 yr time skip? Like idk I feel kinda Icked by it sadly :( I wish he wasn’t a high schooler or that the entire season wasn’t him in high school and this guy 25 bc now I’m too attached to seeing them with a different relationship of caretaker and child instead of romance T^T like age gaps don’t bother me at all it’s just how this age gap relationship started is what’s messing with me
