wow, they really cut out a lot from the novel the chasing arc was much longer and actually lasted a whole year. i cried so much because i really love angst and regret tropes . i think they cut out around 600 pages, and so much happened during that time. jin hyoseop’s past was also explained there. and the side stories were cute too, and guessss whattt, czerny and flat are each other’s love interests i really want to read more about them

If you get triggered easily just don't read this, but if you like a good angst & revenge story this is for you. Threat it as a villain origin story for the MC.

Some spoilers........This is kinda a happy ending for MC since he manage to get his revenge. "Happy Ending" in a romantic sense ...then no. "ML" (i don't think we should even call him that) is a stepping stone for MC to get his revenge and get more power. By the end of the story "2nd ML" was killed by "ML" (per novelupdate spolier) and MC managed to get more power thought "2nd ML's" death and keep "ML" by his side since he's useful. In terms of story I like it...not because of the s*x seen (I skipped this while reading) but because of how you can see MC's descent to "madness" as he became more and more withdrawn from the world.
