I personally find this story like a very tragic tale, it feels very sad but also sprinkling in hope at random times.
The characters and the ways they intermingle are very human, very natural. It feels like a balm on a shared wound. Two souls coming together to find a modicum of comfort after suffering endlessly.
I adore and abhor angsty stories like this, the pain digs deep in my heart. I literally feel as if they are plunging a knife in my heart and my stomach sinks, but I can't keep myself away from them either.
They also fill my heart with a strange kind of hope and nostalgia, like a distant and forgotten hug or something.
It's sad and tragic, but it's also heart warming and beautiful to see them live through these situations...
