As Fidel Castro once said, “it is the most beautiful things that are but fleeting moments in our lives, so we can know the value of heartbreak.”
This was truly an unexpected masterpiece.
Thank you author, translator, and Fidel Castro.
Like every generational literary masterpiece, they end too soon… maybe one day we will be graced by a sequel
Can’t wait for when they make up and forgive each other then go on a cute date together
Maybe it’s because I have a degree in literature, but does anyone see the similarities to Shakespeare’ classical masterpieces in this—dare I say it—generation-defining piece of fiction?
Exquisite and thought-provoking dialogue I see similarities from “Romeo & Juliet,” such as, “Did you enjoy it? Did you squirt all over yourself?”
Goosebumps.
Engaging and thrilling drama that reminds me of “Hamlet” where these two characters are separated yet share a common theme that conflicts with their inner hearts?
Riveting.
As someone with a degree in literature, I’ve never read such a compelling work of fiction. Truly on par with Shakespeare and Tolkien.
