Might be a controversial take but i geniuely think their relationship can work if Siyun likes goes to therapy, maybe even a psychiatrist to deal with all this trauma and unhealthy comping mechanisms he has developed
I geniuely feel like he wants to be with her and like weirdly enough he is very innocent of a person, we just saw how hard he blushes from her just hugging him.
Unlike other stories where characters like Siyun exist I feel like Siyun geniuely can change and wants to but feels trapped especially with the people other than his gf being the causes of his trauma around.
I don't know how to explain but Siyun gives off 'I can fix him" energy but like seriously and not as a joke like He can def change.
If they stay apart so be it but I belive in their relationship weirdly enough.
