I loved the depth and biter sweetness of the character’s relationship. This is first time for me posting here. As for recommendations from my own experience, BL where the characters are flawed, feel human and have complicated relationships, Ein and Leto being my main reference:
Let me know if you need trigger warnings for them 'cause they can be heavy. Dark Heaven in particular is messed up, but don't worry, nothing toxic happens between the protagonists in any of these, as far as I can remember.

You should try the other work of the author. I haven't read it myself, but I heard it's good. Maybe you'll like it.
