THIS! People are forgetting Hyeonjae is mentally challenged and needs a fucking therapy because he's not just abandoned, he's also used by his fucking teacher whom is the reason why he's in jail. Plus his brother abandoned him, reunited outside for a bit, then in jail, then taught him how to fucking rape and torture the inmates.

He was used by his teacher but I'm pretty sure that he's in jail because he cut off his teacher's limbs. That's a pretty extreme response. I can understand if he just shot and killed the teacher or even stabbed him for being taken advantage of but cutting up someone's limbs is not normal. Heonjae might have severe problems but he does have some understanding of what he's doing. By the time Heonjae and Jingi met up they were grown men. How do you teach a grown ass man to rape and torture especially when Jingi wasn't the one that forced him to cut off his teacher's limbs. It would be one thing if Jingi forced him to hold down his victims and keep watch and Heonjae felt guilty for being an accomplice but in ch 14 Heonjae addressed it and basically said that he was an active participant. Also in ch 23 Heonjae fantasizes about cutting Myeonggi to the point where his "flesh is dangling off". If you don't like Jingi that's fine. He is a rapist and is the mastermind, but let's not infantilize Heonjae. One more thing, what do you mean when you say Jingi abandoned him? If I'm not mistaken I'm pretty sure Heonjae and Jingi are at most 10 years apart. Growing up Jingi probably didn't have that much control over their living situation. If Heonjae was 8 years old then Jingi was probably like 18 or younger, and by the time Heonjae was 13 Jingi was only 23. Also, sorry this is the last thing, people are speculating that Jingi may have been sexually abused by the uncle so he wanted to keep Heonjae away to protect him.

Is it actually true that Jingi taught him how to mix sex with torture? We know that Heonjae was attracted to his teacher because we saw him suck the whistle when the teacher wasn't looking and we know that he cut off his teacher's limbs, but we don't know if he did anything sexual to his teacher while he tortured him.

When I say teach him to rape etc I'm not talking about the teacher. What he did with the teacher is his twisted way of "loving" him. The teacher showed him "care" and Hyeonjae's love deprived mind twisted that care in to something else. Also, where did I infantalize him? I never did that. What I'm saying is Hyeonjae needs guidance. And Jingi isn't doing that quite well. He's normalizing that abuse and rape. Think about it like this, you have a mentally challenge brother, who's probably developed some psycho mentality due to everything that happened to him. As a brother would you show him it's okay to fuck and torture someone? It's obvious even if they're both adults, that Hyeonjae follows and Obeys Jingi. If Jingi shows Hyeonjae it's okay and normal or force and hurt someone, they dude would think it's fine and in return would gladly and actively participate in it.

When I said he abandoned Hyeonjae, I meant it as how it is. Even when He grew up and had the means to return, knowing that his brother is mentally slow, he did not come back. Maybe it's just my personal morals, but even as a kid, whatever the fucking age I may be, I'll do my best to comeback and be there for my younger siblings. I don't hate Jingi. I just don't like his ways and decisions. Be it with Myeongil or with Hyeonjae.

Heonjae did cut his teacher's leg, but there was nothing sexual about that. He pretty much lost everything that mattered to him, his world crashed down to the point he didnt even remember what he did. And him cutting the teacher's leg was probably because he broke his own leg trying to be useful.

But violence and sex only became a mix when he followed Jingi's steps, and Jingi enjoyed rape and torture. Heonjae does everything Jingi wants, so it is pretty natural he would want to join Jingi even if not asked too.

Whenever the trio are having sex, Jingi decides whats going on. And if he doesnt want Heonjae to join, then Heonjea doesnt as we have seen.
