I’m starting to think maybe the way the dad was Brought up makes him awkward and not know how to show his feelings are expressed his love for his daughter, and his daughter has taken that as him neglecting her (which granted he has neglected her emotionally) but he has always loved her just didn’t Express it properly
then when that other blonde bitch came along I’m thinking she must’ve put him under a spell that made him crazy, because that last panel just before the main character dies has a look on his face it’s like kind of stranded, and I’m thinking maybe after she died he broke out of that spell and then reversed time
just a theory but that will be the only way I forgive him for getting her killed is if he was under some mind manipulation spell and he had no control, but he still has to work fucking hard if he wants any kind of forgiveness, that little girl just wanted his love
But the one who brought her back had blue eyes tho
