i have bad news for you about novel TL - 90% of them are MTL as well. Very few are actually fluent in the language, and only a handful among them actually do the TL themselves (some just edit the MTL, even if they know the language, just to speed things up) But guess who is the one making money on it? Not the real translators. in my experience, they usually put up their TL for free. if someone is charging coins etc, you can bet your ass they are MTL because they are in it to make money and so the speed of MTL works in their favor.
but yea manhwa TL is littered with these MTL grifters who take up all the new series before an actual translator gets to them.
