Like they are taking literally anything on this site, just ban them, like I got no trouble with mtl, but the audacity of this fuckers of making money out of it, I even justify novels bc they actually have to make an effort to make the tl make sense and most never get official tl, but this lame dumbasses dont even do the tl themselves
i have bad news for you about novel TL - 90% of them are MTL as well. Very few are actually fluent in the language, and only a handful among them actually do the TL themselves (some just edit the MTL, even if they know the language, just to speed things up) But guess who is the one making money on it? Not the real translators. in my experience, they usually put up their TL for free. if someone is charging coins etc, you can bet your ass they are MTL because they are in it to make money and so the speed of MTL works in their favor.
but yea manhwa TL is littered with these MTL grifters who take up all the new series before an actual translator gets to them.
i wont be grateful for slop. if there is nothing, i'd rather wait for an official TL. or if im that desperate, id google TL myself. these bitchasses who make money off of what should be freely given get no gratitude or respect from me.

So, I used to be in Mosh a long time ago. I know the people in there - especially the leader Fuho. They are assholes prime. They don't have any quality standards - their translators will frequently use MTL to translate and try to pass it off as their own. They sent spies to other groups, caused a huge drama and nearly got banned from B A T O for it. If you wanna know about a group that has never upheld any scanlation ethics, this is the one. I was there when they sniped Hazama - they knew it and still kept doing it anyway because Fuho doesnt care about rules. He is belligerent af. He doesnt even QC the things he credits himself as QC for. This is a group that is made of assholes, and seeing someone defending them like an idiot just makes me feel sad for the misinformed people.
