There’s this manhwa i read but i forgot the name. all i can remember is, the uke worked as a chef and the seme was the head chef. The uke had a crush on the seme and so did the seme. the uke was working for the seme. Had to do a cooking show with the seme. And the manhwa had a side story of an omega verse version of the uke and seme. AND it think the uke was lowkey a nerd
can someone explain to me why we’re still in the past?
idk what exactly you mean by “why” but the flashback is showing Taegus pov and how the events actually played out when mc left his dad and how taegu started helping him, showing how their relationship started, for “why we’re STILL in the past” I guess that’s just how the author decided to pace the chapters? instead of just one or two chapters in the past they decided to use multiple to show all the aspects of the story that they intend to.
Sorry i meant ‘how’ because people in the comment section kept saying that “I keep forgetting were in the past and not in the present.” or something about chapter 1. the comment section got me confused
ohhhh I thought you were referring to the current flashbacks, basically if you reread chapter 1, it shows the MC beaten up, and that hasn’t actually happened yet in our current timeline, it’s still going to happen, so people are referring to him being beaten up as the present time, and then the current story is technically the past, leading up to that moment we saw briefly in chapter 1. it’s something authors do to create suspense and pull you in, showing a future event that leaves you questioning what’s happening and then plunging the story further back in the past and leading it up to the events that they briefly showed.
