Something about this chapter just screams to me... The way Yujin and Aaron are just cohabiting in Yujin's apartment going through the day, Aaron smelling like Yujin's body wash, Yujin talking about his childhood memories, them having breakfast together, Yujin even playing a song for Aaron and the colors used for the chapter is just really captivating!
THEY'LL DEFINITELY POUNCE ON EACHOTHER NEXT CHAPTER (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
We should've been able to see Shin wearing the police uniform long ago, I can't believe we've been missing out on this hottie
Shin in a police uniform is doing something to me
The fact that this manhwa made me read all 81 chapters in a small matter of 2 days is just awesome. I don't think I've ever read one where I could compare Max Mojave Case Files to. Not only is the art gorgeous, the storytelling, the plot and the characters are just amazingly well-written that I'm at a loss for words right now. I don't usually binge-read mangas/hwas/huas this quickly so this one is definitely a favorite of mine aswell as a must-read. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Max and Chris went through so much together, I'm really happy they can feel the warm embrace of eachother without having to worry for the time being. Their complexity is of one of a kind and their love for eachother is so strong that I felt like I was the one experiencing the fondness of their words! Seriously, the author really touched me with their story.
I love how the 2 first met, Max's tears that day really shook me up and so did Chris. The way Chris also got over his phobia of guns is amazing. His determination to find Max after that one incident led to his admiring growth. I'm really glad that Max could keep his promise to Chris. I don't think I'd be alright if I didn't see them embracing eachother as warmly as they are now!
Although the ending did feel a bit rushed, I am extremely relieved to see that both of our endearing couples are alive and well. <3 I hope Nathan and Sean strive for the rest of their time, they really felt like the parents that Max and Chris have lost. I also find it absolutely adorable how our protagonists exchanged last names for their new identity, Chris Micheals and Max Clark!
A hiatus right before the last chapter??? AAAHHHHH
Ahhh they're way too precious, what do you mean it's time to let go of them!? </3 Only 9 chapters, yet, I got so attached to this story!! Author-nim really knows how to touch our hearts! Every emotion displayed in this manhwa made me feel like I was in it, it's not often that I come by BLs that make me feel like that!
Although the whole "You don't know who I am yet you know me better than anyone else." part got canceled out, I'd say I prefer this ending way more since Cheongrok learned how to express himself by watching Jaegyu and Jaegyu learned to love and how to be loved!
I really wish 'Release Your Persona' would never have ended but I do hope we'll atleast get side stories! If anyone has news about possible ss, please let me know!! Until then, I'll be missing Jaegyu and Cheongrok very much!!! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I absolutely love how expressive Yoo Joonghyuk has been in these last few chapters aaahh!!! ALSO, THE GOURMET ASSOCIATION ARC YAAAAYYYYY!!
ARGGHH I CAN'T WAIT FOR WHEN YEOWOON FIBALLY REALIZES THAT JI9STAR IS LITERALLY JIGU AAAAAAAAAAA ヽ(`Д´)ノ
What about the kiss!? Give him a kiss aswell, Jian Yi!
I absolutely love how complex the characters are, the twists, the art and the manga in general. I love psychological stories and this one takes the first place for me.
Fukusuke's schemes really impressed me, like, the doorknob one? Imo, Riku is worse than Fukusuke. Although Fukusuke did all of those things to Shoukichi, Riku knew all about it and just stood by to watch in silence. I feel really bad for Shoukichi, he is constantly being manipulated by Fukusuke and it definitely won't come to an end. Shoukichi's guilt of watching a pitiful person made him blind to all of the cruelty inflicted onto him by Fukusuke.
After everything, it went back to square one. Shoukichi will never escape Fukusuke's grasp and that's what I like about this manga. It just shows how people don't really change. This work of Harada is genuinely a piece of art and I can't wait to read the rest of her works!
Is Tsubaki an undead? In the first chapter, we see Kabuto bleeding on the ground and then we see Tsubaki with the same head injury so I was thinking, did Tsubaki get control of Kabuto's soul? Kabuto said that Tsubaki somehow isn't affected by him draining his life energy. I know that his muscular body allowed him to survive some incidents, but getting stabbed and the truck accident shouldn't make him be able to live on that easily without a bit of suffering... I'm not sure tho this is honestly really wild and I didn't think much behind whether or not would Tsubaki actually be an undead, but please let me know your thoughts on this!
THE TAGS!? "#nonhuman" TODD IS DEFINITELY THE COYOTE OML
Yet another one of my favorite stories have ended Reunion is so pure and I love everything about it, from their genuine love to their growth, everything just made me forget about reality and experience their emotions through my screen! I don't think I'll ever find a manhwa as genuine as this one.
Every chapter makes me realize that Yoonsung and Hakyung's love for eachother just grows exponentially as time passes. In most cases, after about 10 years of marriage, couples' loves dull, but, I don't see it happening with Reunion, I don't see them falling out of love, I bet they'll even find a way to meet again in the afterlife! <3
I'm really happy that Yoonsung's mother spoke up about his case and defended him instead of lashing out at Yoonsung like his father and brother did. Motherly love really is genuine!
Like Yoonsung said, helping a brother graduate all on yourself isn't something one can easily achieve. That just shows how Hakyung really cares about his little brother.
Yoonsung wouldn't be who he is without Hakyung and vice-versa. Even when times are rough, having the presence of a loved one can immediately change your mindset!
If anyone knows about any news of possible side stories, please let me know! This was a really enjoyable journey.
The fact that Zhishu's last words were to Wenxu, his cheating lover and not to Ai, the one that genuinely loved him, cared for him and held Zhishu until his last breath pains me. Imagine having the one you love die in your arms, but their last words aren't to you?
How can you be so shameful, Jiang Wenxu? You only realized your mistakes when you found out that your lover was about to die. Zhishu loved him for over 10 years even when he was being abused by Wenxu meanwhile the latter couldn't even show an ounce of genuine love.
Even though 10 Years That I Loved You The Most brought me nothing but sorrow, I can say that I really cherish this manhua.
I'm really glad that Ai stayed by Zhishu's side and showed him what he had always wanted to experience. I'm really happy that Zhishu isn't in pain anymore and is resting. If Wenxu ever moves on and finds himself a new lover, he better not repeat the same mistakes.
Nonetheless, I really loved this story and I will definitely reread it another time <3
