Yes, Jaekyung’s childhood was worse but people need to stop using that to excuse the way he treats others. Both he and Dan went through awful things, and no child deserves that. and I just hope that jaekyung choose to change
100% agree, but at the same time, perhaps it’s a little different since Jaekyung didn’t have anyone to care for him growing up and the only adult that gave him attention literally invited him into a world of fighting and violence, only adding to the violent and negligent childhood he’d already been living in before- whereas although Dan didn’t have parents and was poor too, he still had his grandma to show him love and happiness even while they were suffering… it obviously doesn’t excuse jk’s behaviour, but at the same time, if he’s been experiencing it since a young child, it perhaps became a normal thing to him and he may not understand that?
On the other hand, perhaps Dan is going to show jk what gentleness and love is, as his grandma was for him, and change jk…
