I understand the annoyance with her since she’s trying to get the guys broken up and find someone he can settle down with, but this setting is very conservative so she’s grown up thinking the ideal is a straight couple with kids.
I’m pretty sure they’re going to gently tell her that there’s different walks of life that lead you down a path to happiness and contentment, so chill with the hate.
