I dont think he’s getting “weaker”, the portrayal of him now is his authentic self: he has always been a very emotional person and he cares and loves deeply, easily feeling anxious and insecure, being scared of people judging him, having always wanted a family of his own, and can shed tears when he’s sad, etc. The “powerful” Seth in the beginning was just a mask that he put up tho, he was a mess back then. I love the current Seth and how real he is
