I feel like this is the real mystery I want answers to. Like, what kind of game is this? Are they characters and are they played by real humans who picked them? How come they're sentient? Is this like a VR game? And if it is, what if one of them logs out because they're tired, they can't do that bc their lives are tied to the game?
I have so many questions!!!!
I imagine its like the anime SAO, where they have helmets on and their nerves r connected, and maybe the software won't let them out until they solve the game
Isn't it the first rule when it comes to piracy is to not expose where you're getting your sources? Don't argue with the writers, just fucking shut up. Self harm is when you harm youself, right? Typing this make me feel stupid cuz it's self explanatory. But I feel like ppl here have criteria for SH. Like if you're an unstable person who's having suicidal thoughts, or someone who has trauma might resort to SH but it's a diff. story when it comes to hurting yourself for undivided attention or your SO? Is the word self-harm reserved for when you're feeling suicidal. Enlighten me.
Generally speaking, yes, self harm is still self harm regardless of why you’re doing it. Whether it’s for attention or because it distracts you, being suicidal, or whatever.
I think when people talk about that, their criteria is because maybe they are specifically looking for a story with characters who are genuinely struggling with their mental health which makes them resort to self harm, rather than characters who are doing it purely for the sake of attention from another character? Because the dynamics in stories like that are going to be entirely different. But who knows. Either way, it’s still self harm.

I know ppl who self harm for other reasons but all mental health issues:
1. Attention
2. Depression
3. To feel something
4. Forget pain
(But these all fall under depression anyway)
REMEMBER THAT SELF HARM IS NOT A SOLUTION AT ALL. IT ONLY ADDS TO YOUR PROBLEMS.
