I am a fujishi but also such a long-time hardcore Sailor Moon fan (of the manga, don't try it anywhere else before the manga!) that this is a total win for me (especially because the author didn't dress the hero in a skirt or frills and stuff, really good call there).
It's ok, the newest adaptations were kind of a total mess.
Long live the original Sailor Moon manga, and even the 90's Sailor Moon anime (SM Crystal's season 1 was the worst adaptation ever)
