Ok so his idea of being family together was never about growing and being happy together but about tearing him down and being miserable together,,, from the start he never considered J's pain as real but as just some light shit a rich kid complains about while only his pain is real, like if you really thought that from the start, if toi didn't see you both being equals and only thought "he's a privileged kid crying over nothing" then why did you cling to him as friends? And you yourselves set up the plan that J would start going along with everything his dad says and pretend to be the good son to have an easier time at home till he can leave it behind and go once he's an adult bit then suddenly you're annoyed he acts like his dad wanted and you risk your long term plan by showing up at his house, and then orchestrate this bullying crap? At this point WHY should he choose you when you're worse than his dad? At least he has to deal with dad cause he's dependent on him as a child and can't run away, what reason does he have to be with you when you're like that?
