This has to be one of the most emotionally layered backstories I’ve seen in a BL manhwa. It’s not just blackmail—it’s a slow, painful attack on his identity and his need to belong.
His adoptive brother resents him for being treated like a “real” son—same birthday, same gifts—when deep down, he’s seen as nothing more than a replacement for the twin who died. The blackmail builds from there: first threatening his place in the adoptive family, then ruining his career by exposing his parents’ crimes, then isolating him by threatening to reveal he’s adopted.
And when he finally finds a friend—someone who becomes his first love—the brother targets that too. He threatens to expose the photos, destroying not just that relationship, but his connection with his parents, his career, and everything he’s built.
It’s brutal, personal, and hits way harder than just “I’m going to leak something.” It’s about tearing him down from the inside out.
