I wish we could learn more about the main couples past~
the donghua is a bit of a watered-down and generic-fied version of wmmap, people say if you were to watch it, its better to ignore the original story so its more 'enjoyable' but tbh without it being related to wmmap, it kills all sort of enjoyment even more. wmmap is one of the better-written rofans out of the 1000000000 stories of this genre, and the donghua's story is more similar to those tacky new-gen baby mc transmigration rofans, it doesnt have the same quality as wmmap.
like wmmap vs lady baby --- donghua reminds me of lady baby~ wmmap is sort of stereotypical, but in a good way, its not messy and although the characters personalities are... basic? (NOT IN A BAD WAY) they aren't tacky or annoying or obnoxious! the way athy og acts in the manhwa is likeable, because shes very innocent and easily misunderstands things and blows things out of proportion in a cute and funny way whereas donghua athy is portrayed like those 'badass' mcs which arent badass at all..... that scene where athy punishes the maid for jewels and chocolate is so unlike her,,,, her character in the donghua isnt like athy, its like those baby mc from other manhwa/manhua,,,, TT
its not that the donghua is very bad, its just, on a different standard wmmap is to me~~
