Ughh why does it always cut it off.. I wrote this as a tip for forgetful people like me who come across a story they've already tried reading but didn't enjoy it because art change, grossness(disgusting), or cringe.
While we don't always trust what others say we can trust what we have already tried reading. I tend to put it in my already read and write to myself.
Example: Art change @47 drastically different can't tell who is who. Don't try to read again.
Then I put unsubscribe so it doesn't pop up again in notifications and if I come across it again I know not to waste my time.

Then I change it after I'm done with it too. Like @237 wait till 300 so I wait usually because a new arc is happening and I don't wanna get confused. If you remember one you hate just put in already read. Write fucking hate this shit don't read. Lol it works wonders!

I really don't get people hating on overpowered MC in a tower end of the world type thing.
I think it all boils down to preference.
But if I had to say in a more observant tone, maybe it's because the OP Mc trope, when executed badly, waters down the mc into only the strong character traits without the vulnerability of human emotion and nature more often than not. And an mc who gets everything they want with an apathetic sort of demeanor oftentimes lacks depth (especially if they have a bland motive), which might feel repetitive for readers.
tbh I think overpowered MCs can be interesting when done right and aren't devoid of deep motives, emotions, and actually fun personality

I like the trope because it's healing. It's sometimes nonsense but it's not harmful to the mind lol. In my rant that disappeared I mentioned how fked my brain ended up by the betrayal in shoujo and the toxic relationships in yaoi. It's good to have a MC that doesn't die so easily because sometimes you just want the story to go on and on. I also asked to recs for anything similar or weird plots where there's no romance lol. Like Leveling Up by only Eating, The Ultimate Shut In, or Leveling Up with Skills.
I'm sad it disappeared cause now it looks like I'm begging for an argument lmao I did mention it was a preference thing too but just to not take it out on a single story. They can post a topic lol. I mean even I've seen the same trope over and over in other genres yk? It's never overused to me. Seeing your take, I totally get where you're coming from. There's a sense of security when you know that your main character won't get easily pushed over especially due to external means.
I also have a similar reading pattern when it comes to preference! I especially love stories with the "transmigrated into a story MC read" trope. And I don't think it'll ever feel old or overused for me any sooner. It's fun to see how different authors tackle the same trope with their own unique twists to it, be it through character, world building, etc.
MCs who suffer in vain just for the sake of having the MC baggage can feel so heavy and unnecessary without a proper resolution, so I really understand you finding it healing when the MC can actually stand up for/protect themselves.
Yeah frfr I've been reading them all week. Yk it's bad then you don't even check daily for chapters. I was going days sometimes a week before coming back on here and I love to read. READING IS LIFE. Lol but it was so hard to find something with no romance. I need at least a few months before getting back into anything that might be toxic. Plus parent manhwa/webtoons are okay but theres just not enough action sometimes.
Oooo love that one! And yeah sometimes people die in those tower dungeon stories but I like when they're alone. That way it takes a while to get attached to side characters so they won't feel that emotion burden so easily. (⌒▽⌒)

First, to get something out of the way: when Yeonwoo thought back a few chapters later about what happened at that party at the beginning of the story, it is mentioned that it was Grayson who got the alphas off him. So after he bit that guy he didn't get away on his own. Nothing more, but that was mentioned in the KML novel.

Dane is a dominant omega who only ever bottomed for Grayson.
And since no one knows about Dane being the omega (everyone thinks he is a beta), him being one of the worst promiscuous humans in creation and topping everything....it was even discussed by others in the novel.XD
Grayson is more like an ultra dominant alpha, since he was born manifested.
Your picture of Grayson will shift drastically when you read his story. Reading his PoV, how crazy and weird he is, his interactions with other etc. is hilarious.

The main story was finished in May (->chapter 195. Chapter 194 and 195 are kind of an epilogue, something that happens a bit later). The first extra were released ~2 weeks later (-> chapter 210. The first extra continue the end of chapter 193).
She revised the story and did some changes and added some stuff, for logical reasons, when they release the stories in volumes? I think.
A much longer extra with possible mpreg was announced for later this Year or next Year. But I think it will be next Year, since Run away if you can (Nathaniel's story), which was scheduled to start July 16th was postponed to October, so the author will msot likely be behind her schedule

She added that Dane had more of those experimental pills and used them. The one he used on the first non-date.
In the extra she added that Chase and the younger ones were too small to remember that they all together went to Disneyland once. That's because Chase mentioned in KMIYC that he never went to a public amusement park.
I can't remember everything, but 3 changes I remember I don't want to mention, because those would be massive spoilers, the situations are. And they are in the last third? of the story.

She mentioned the extras on twitter, since they changed the story tags. I think she originally wanted to put the pregnancy or child in the epilogue, because for a long time there was a pregnancy tag. But now it is most likely to happen in the second extra, which should have much longer than the first.
I think Dane will be good with kids. And since he can handle Grayson, he will be able to handle their dominant offspring.lol

Only official version at the moment is in korean.
I used ridibooks with a translator, and fan translations of other languages and a FB blog with very good summaries to check things that were unclear etc....all with a translator.XD
When the novel was in progress the english fan translations were all way behind, so no real option. At the moment I only know of one english fan translation that is finished (that one caught up a few days before the end), but that one has still logged chapters. There is another one past chapter 100 and in progress.

There are also complete fan translations in spanish, portuguese, vietnamese, turkish. I didn't check if there are more now.
But all the completed I know of ere translated live when the story was still in progress, so it's unlikely they have the current revised version. I'm mean it's only some small changes, but still has to be mentioned.

But Grayson really doesn't understand what he did to his brother, if you read it in KMIYC and don't let your anger for Chase get in the way, you see that there was no malice behind it (no matter how bad it looks, and it looks bad), and he in his weird way cares for Chase, but you think he is crazy ( but the dominant alphas are all pychopath). Grayson's way of helping has always been a big problem, if you read Grayson's story you'll see that. That guy was born manifested, releases more pheromones that normal dominant alphas, and has problems understanding emotions etc.
I got the impression that he is actually much stronger and much more dangerous than other dominant alphas, but his personality....I think he got a good portion of Koi in the mix and he really does some weird crazy stuff:D

Yes, but in this case it's the omegas lol, Dane and Josh both where exclusively tops before, so promiscuous that they were in league with the dominant alphas, esp. Dane, but started to bottom with their alphas. Since both alphas would do everything for their omegas, I thinks it's mainly their own decision. And in both cases you can't say they were forced to bottom, when they had their first experience as a bottom, Josh and Chase you saw in the manhwa adaption and Grayson and Dane....Spoiler
