I feel like that’s hinting at the fact he actually knows he’s a man, but knows that Korean society would shun a same-sex couple, which is why he’s inviting him to America, in a way he’s giving him a chance to admit to being a man while also letting him know he want the relationship to continue? Or I might be looking into this to much idk
