man... i want to be mad, im actually quite pissed, i want this to pass already. But I understand... Jiwon is experiencing his first ever relationship, he's inexperienced, he doesn't have anything to reference... Oh! actually he has something to reference for! his traumas! and that's exactly what he's doing. he just knows that giving up will hurt much less, he experienced it, that's just what he knows. he didn't get taught that coming out will actually free you, that getting jealous is healthy if communicated properly, he just knows it's bad because, again, he referenced it to how ML reacted before. Jiwon didn't read a lot of romance novels unlike we did. what we take as reasonable and common sense does not apply to everybody. we didn't come to this world already knowing what is right, we have to be taught that. and what did Jiwon's teacher taught him?
