No to me, its disrespectful ? to og writer ( if fic is about changing the ending of changing plot) also i don't get the appeal. It's equivalent to a cheap knock off of the og. tho if it is writing the ship about potential side couples i would eat that up.
Idk if it comes out as double standards but that's just my take.
