This story is the epitome of “you’ve got a little plot stuck in your smut”. This story wouldn’t have been this long if they didn’t have sex every other chapter. S1 was intolerable. Just when they got some plot in, these horny mfs had to have sex. S2 cooled off a bit cuz they had that huge conflict that separated them, so it was unavoidable that they couldn’t have sex, but the moment they got back together, it was sex all over again. This story isn’t even that long to begin with, just 40 chapters total with some side stories in between. Could’ve easily halved it if they weren’t fcking all day every day.

I was actually interested in the plot and its progression. The whole misunderstanding and hurt, I was digging it, but it kept getting interrupted by sex. They’d get a little plot dialogue in then immediately these guys will have sex.. This story has more smut than romance, they should’ve added the smut tag and removed the romance tag.

When they actually focused on the plot I quite enjoyed it. The top was a douche and I enjoyed his begging. I wish he suffered longer. The bottom is a die hard fan through and through, no surprise he forgave so easily. He’s just another blind fan after all. Their relationship developed nicely imo. Bottom was into top but at the same time, still had his doubts, as both a fan and just a ordinary lover. Top wasn’t into bottom and kept pretending, but along the way he grew affection. There’s layers to it, I can see the effort in building the characters. But after the conflict, I feel like it just got solved too easily. From what felt like a multi layer effort just turned into basic characters.

I would have liked to read more about the cousin idol and the former idol member. Their relationship seemed to have had a hiccup and even seemingly broke up. But they got it resolved along the way in the background of this story. Im especially interested cuz they’re so polar opposites. Cousin idol is so expressionless and deadpan while former idol is all sparkles and smiles. Such a odd but good combo so what’s their story, ya know? Got me nosy.

Overall, it’s a decent read.

Sometimes I can't take the whole wolf—puppy thing seriously, and am reminded of those cringe audios. Especially in the first half of the chapter ASFGH

I just pressed a random chapter of it and it was of that one where yuu's female classmate, the one with short dark hair, seems to be insinuating, or even supporting the thought that Yuu has romantic feelings for tsubaki -chapter 57

I won't claim to be on the moral high ground saying it's pedophilia and that the author is a predator or stuff like that, cause it really has nothing to do with me lol it's tldr; I really couldn't care less about what it might say about the author and it's readers

I'm one of the people who agree that fiction is fiction and just leave it at that, basically that whatever is being written or read has nothing to do with what my morality and values are

Tbh really my gripe for the manga is how the story is being written, it's almost like they're low-key forcing Yuu to have and accept that he has romantic feelings for tsubaki. Like actually he says it his feelings for tsubaki are that of a younger brothers but the classmates inner monologue is basically saying "nah you like that elementary schooler you just don't know it" it's really not convincing, and in an effort to make it seem like he's reciprocating, they suddenly make him more "conscious" of tsubaki, and it really just doesn't look good for him lmao

AND THEN HERE COMES MY BIGGEST ISSUE (this is just personal dislike lol) THE BLACK HAIRED KID.
I don't even bother to remember his name cause what is even his purpose? To give a friend who motivates tsubaki into turning Yuu into a child offender? Jk I just really don't like this character he just makes the whole chapter bad for me no matter how cute the art he's drawn in.

Anyways probably wouldn't have had this issue if they didn't force the quote "love" Yuu feels, also definitely better if tsubaki's "love" stayed pure and innocent.
IG a good example of a shota that imo was written better is sayonara alpha where they r both mutually in love but the child is never aware of anything sexual and never have a label(?idk I think they never did) until he was older, he just really loved the older guy and even stayed away from him for his sake
