I want to ask those who’ve read The Man at Night. I’ve read up to chapter 99, but I still don’t understand why Cha Yoo-gon doesn’t want to quit working as a sex worker at the club. In chapter 95, his past was discussed, so is it because he suffers from skin hunger? Is that why he became a sex addict and can’t stop working? I’m really curious, so please, someone help me t______t

Guys, I know I’m super late to this, but I just read the danmei “I Can Do It” by Jiang Zi Bei and omg it’s SO cute?? It’s actually the first e-sports danmei I’ve ever picked up and it was such a fun read. Totally recommend if you haven’t read it yet—or even if it’s your first time trying danmei!ヾ(☆▽☆)

I just finished reading One Room TA, one of those manhwas I kept putting off, waiting for it to be completed. But it turned out to be that good? Peak AF. I’m really happy to have learned so much from the story—it’s so relatable:")

Guys, I thought I Hear the Sunspot ended with 5 volumes, but what is the author's newest release, Four Seasons? Is it a continuation? Can anyone tell me? ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Guys, please let me know! Has the BL manga Ushimitsu Dokidoki Koshotentan or any of tacocasi's works licensed by futekiya been printed (in physical format)? (/TДT)/

Risol asked a question

I’m deeply impressed by the storytelling in the manga Pink Heart Jam, and one of its characters, Ryo Kanae, has such strong self-boundaries—a trait I find rare in romance manga. In most romance stories, especially in the shoujo type, characters are often portrayed as overly desperate when they fall in love. But Kanae’s character is filled with genuine self-respect; he’s honest about his own feelings and allows Haiga to find the answer to his sexuality without forcing it, because Kanae believes he is truly worth it and doesn’t deserve to be treated as just a fleeting crush.(≧∀≦)

Go read Ookami-kun wa Osowaretai, y’all! If you’ve already read it, let’s all team up and request SuBLime, Futekiya, or Kuma to license it! The story is sooo good, and it’s already up to 3 volumes now! (≧∀≦)

Risol asked a question

I honestly don’t get how average shoujo manga keep getting anime adaptations, while so many amazing BL stories get ignored just because they’re not seen as “mainstream.” Studios are too focused on playing it safe. A gem like Yoake no Uta is still waiting to be noticed. It's frustrating. I just hope things will change and BL stories will finally get the recognition they deserve ╥﹏╥

Risol asked a question

Just FYI — if you’re reading Hime Muko, the author has confirmed it’s being developed into a longer series(≧∀≦)

Risol asked a question

Help me find this BL, please! So the seme was at a bar and he usually dates older women. He often says that younger people aren’t his type—until he ends up dating a younger uke. If anyone knows a story like this or something similar, please let me know! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I think someone asked for historical BL recommendations a few days ago—
you absolutely have to read TWO SOULS!! ヾ(☆▽☆)

Risol asked a question

Please recommend me a BL manga or manhwa/manhua with an older seme, aside from Dangerous Convenience Store—I’ve reread it so many times because it’s just that good (/TДT)/

Risol asked a question

On Twitter, there was a BL manhwa author who expressed their displeasure because people were reading their work illegally. But then, many of the comments were people getting angry back at them, and? I’m confused — I think the author has every right to be upset.

I also can’t always afford to read things legally, but I still don’t think I have the right to get mad at the authors. They work hard for what they create.

Risol asked a question

I’ve realized I connect more deeply with BL and GL stories. There’s something about how the relationships are portrayed that feels more honest and emotionally sincere. These days, I find it hard to enjoy straight romance, no matter how well it’s written. Sometimes I get anxious, knowing there aren’t as many queer stories out there, while straight ones are everywhere. I even catch myself forcing straight romance into my reading list just so I won’t run out of things to read—even though I rarely enjoy them.

Does anyone else feel the same? No hate to straight readers—just something I’ve been thinking about lately.
