Oh what the fuck did I just read…
I have rarely read things on this site that made me seriously uncomfy until the end, but this may be one of the top 3. There was NO redemption in this story. It got worse and worse (not quality). This is all personal beliefs and I can understand that this story is absolutely not for me.
IM LATE BUT LIKE THE 60s CHAPYERS ARE SO SAD LIKE IM ACTUALLY CRYING CUZ ITS SIMILAR TO A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND ITS SO HEARTBREAKING CUZ LIOE THEYRE GROWN AND HEALING BUT ALSO STILL DAMAGED CUZ OF SMALL MISTAKES THAT SPIRALED
Honestly the story is pretty nice, and I think I would really like this. BUTT… an 18yo and 30-something year old is kind of ick. Woojung even acknowledges this, and I understand the story wouldn’t really make as much sense, but MAYBE if Jiho was aged up by just like 5 or 6 years this could be peak. Although I could say the kind of problematic age gap makes me more intrigued into the characters minds…

Guys what the ick. While reading I couldn’t see them as anything other than brothers (even if not by blood). I was really happy with Taekyung’s(?) story but then HE SWITCHED BACK TO HIS FREAKY ASS BROTHER WHAT THE FUCK?????
This PISSED ME OFF so much but also it was pretty damn good. Characters made me angry but also I think they were written very well. I like the messages it sends about not letting love control you and make you become a background character in your own life. And I think the drunk scene was maybe a little icky because neither characters didn’t really seem bothered, but overall it played its part well.
I think MAYBE this is not for me. I read the first 18ish chapters with so much rape and then I see a huge age gap. I've read Love is an Illusion many times before and I'm glad that the creator switched their work up after this one :(
