Female lead is FAR from being stupid. Ths adaptation indeed took out a lot information/details/scenes that happened in the novel that was needed for better comprehension, even I was surprised to read the latest update. Maybe they did that because it's hard to put/draw everything and might drag the story for a few more chapters

The next chapters might help y'all understand her decision. She didn't decide to get caught just because she's the typical weak fl blablabla. And DEFINITELY wasn't acting like a damsel in distress, rather, it was a SUICIDAL ACT considering she might die if ever she comes back to the duchy and that's what she's after since she's just tired of everything (she's expecting that killian might go back the way he is before and will be the one who will kill her).

and just so you know, this ain't called yapping nor barking. I'm just giving you the information you need so you will stop judging the female lead edith, and most of all the NOVEL READERS who wanted everything they were expecting for a long time to happen.
