Honestly, I don't know if this will make sense, but right now I don't see the bottom (MC) as a bottom. No matter what the cover is or who the ML is, since the only time the MC has 'bottomed' was when he was raped and violated, I see the MC as a top because of his past relationship, and thinking of him as a bottom—I find—is just not who he is.
