It’s Minaduki Yuu for me. I wanna buy all her works. Each story has strong storyline. Older seme and younger uke this troop is my favourite on the top of that. Not huge age gap tho but I kinda don’t mind here. It’s just the plot overshadows everything. Also the author of "Chew and swallow". They write masterpiece imo. Love every story of theirs too.

Story telling is not like any other, and the plot so well thought of. The art??? It's so good, it doesn't need text bubbles or sfx to convey character's emotion, IT'S SO REALISTIC THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS one look and literally makes my heart skip a beat, stomach church or make my heart clench in pain. It has the perfect balance of angst and romance it just keeps you on the edge. It's just the right level of stress I need, ironic how it also brings me peace lol. Oh and also it doesn't have unnecessary drama/fillers just to make story longer.
Shame Bl manhwa/hua/ga doesn't have a lot of stories like this.

i love this manhwa so much i legit got a job so i could buy the chapters legally. ts so good it made me stop pirating It feels like a shounen/seinen but bl which is something the bl world desperately needs more of. It focuses on the well written mystery plot and despite the mcs not moving forward in their romance (backwards lwk actually) it doesn't get tiring. despite it not focusing on the romance, it doesn't feel like an afterthought because the story revolves around the highs and lows of the mcs' relationship through the past and present. AND THE PLOT omfg the plot. its so well written and interesting. i never find myself getting bored no matter how many times i reread it. and since its a mystery i find new hints and details on each reread. also not nearly enough ppl talk about this but the character design is soooo good. u can actually tell the characters apart without just having to remember their hair color. one of the few manhwa authors that doesn't struggle from same face syndrome. the side characters are fun and enjoyable, you never know which one of them to trust. despite every single one being a flawed character you can still understand their actions even while absolutely despising them. also the worldbuilding is rly rly good it sorta feels like the story exists separate from any time period, despite taking place in modern day (i only found this out because they reference league and amongus). also above all, i just fw the vibes heavy. I like dark gritty mystery stuff like this and the art just elevates that to another level. Also i appreciate that the backgrounds are in black. not only does it add to the dark vibes, but its also easier on my eyes at night lol.

Everything about this is icky. Even the FL is such a Mary Sue, your family was killed but I don't feel her grieving at all. Dropped @ chapter 17.
