Apart from being relatable as everyone has pointed out, its also one of those reads which make you kick in the air because of how adorably cute it is (≧∀≦)
The end was so freaking adorable. I liked the parts of the memories with the dad, especially how nicely spread out they were. The one with his dad with a drink was a heavy scene if you sit and think about it.

Among all of sensei's work this has to be a blandest one, not bad but just not the usual good stuff sensei writes. There was no chemistry between the leads, in my eyes. I believe if I read this before the others, I probably wouldn't have had such high expectations because the story isnt bad by any means, just not upto the standards sensei made me have.
What got me most is the translator going "DON'T WORRY ITS NOT THE END YET" repeatedly. That's so adorable, thanks for your great work! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
So far all the Mangas of Suehiro sensei, that I've read, are so freaking adorable, they give you this warm feeling. I'm also glad their "issue" wasn't blown out of proportion! They both just genuinely wanted to feel loved and I think that's what we see here.

It's stories like these that make other short managas look so basic. I'm really happy that I stumbled upon this. But author-san, what do I do with so many feelings!?
The moments before the hospital scene where Eishin thinks about doing THAT and the way that THING was visualized, the turmoil and despair of all those lives they lived and died the way that they died only to want to be reborn again, simply because Eishin just wanted to live a happier and longer life with his beloved, that was so raw and cuts really deep. Like the devotion and love yet so twisted. It's so beautiful. ╥﹏╥
Also, I'm glad the author came to her senses and didn't go deeper with yamada story. #－.－)

Loved this so much, as with most readers, I would love a few more volumes of them.
This is the first time that I'm commenting in the middle of reading but it just boils my blood that after cheating on "the kouhai that treated him like his precious one", and treating him like shit, he has the audacity to say that he can't trust anyone anymore!? Like dude, go look in a fucking mirror. And it's not like he isn't aware of the shit he's doing considering he slapped a high-schooler because he called him out on his dickward 2 timing behavior. I havent read it completely yet but the vet is definitely way more than what this asshole deserves. 100 pages in, I see no redeemable qualities yet.
I think I read this years ago. THANK YOU FOR UPDATING. They're among my top favorite so it made me really happy to have come across it again and see it updated. Also in one of the translator's notes it said that Kaoru is probably a househusband, but I don't think so because his work is essentially like a freelancer, even though the strings factor has taken a backseat, its probably still the same. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
P.S. I love the fact that Hara's parents are also not a fated pair! That was such a lovely detail.(⌒▽⌒)
After reading a lot of meh Mangas, this was such a great change of pace, they're so cute ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
It wasnt as fleshed out probably because its an adaptation. It was more complicated than Junketsu drop so it'll be best not to compare. From what I see, they're both at fault, given that seme is a complete dickhead. Communication is key, people! They're both like little kids, probably because they're. And yet it was still better than a lot of other Mangas.
The worst one here for me would be the mother, yes worse than the father. You want to leave your husband? Great, do it. But to leave your kid at a place like that, a place that even you as an adult couldn't deal with, that's just selfish. If it was a female kid that a mother left in a place full of older teenage boys, she'd be getting a lot more hate than the dad. Double standards.
This needed to be at least 1 more volume. I wanted to see the actual dating phase which had to be sickeningly sweet.(〜￣△￣)〜
