It's wholesome in a sense of the care the mothers show to their children but this Manga truly pierces the reality of what being a mother is & to take such a role while the husband's are just there, clueless or sometimes don't really contribute much in childcare. Despite the added fiction of the characters being nonhuman, it adds more depth at the before & after of their life & it pains you a bit but helps you truly understand what our mothers go through
