Wow. The second half of this manhwa is completely different from the novel, and I actually like the change. Mellie having an actual backbone and Edric seeing the consequences of his actions and a having to cope is so much more satisfying

After watching so many C palace dramas, I must say the sister is a dumbass. She orchestrated her family's downfall AND so essentially lost her backing in court. Even if she currently has the emperor's favor, once she loses it (as she is not the empress), her only way to survive is to produce a son....and that is IF she survives any assassination attempt on her or her child's life. Without any backing from a powerful family, her life in the palace is very precarious. The story of Empress Zhao Feiyi and her sister Zhao Hede is a good example of this. Once the emperor died, the other powerful family pinned crimes on both of them and they were forced to commit suicide.

What I particularly like about this story is that Josh is so thirsty for Chase and makes it pretty obvious haha. And Chase, once they sleep together, his temperament does a 180 around Josh. Lol also, if Chase wasn't an alpha, Josh would've devoured him a long time ago lol.

I don't know what you guys means it's rushed. Its basically like this in the novel too. Though I guess in the novel, you get Josh's POV too. So you understand he's in pain and needed something to get his mind of the pain, so he asked Chase for a kiss. The manhwa has already hinted several times already that Chase feels attraction to Josh, but he's so prickly, that he is in denial about it. The whole coyote attack, it gave a Chase reason to "repay" Josh without having to admit he likes him

How long do I need to let this marinate?

I think one of the reason I like Kiss Me if You Can is that Josh, an omega, kicks ass. It's Chase that is typically the damsel in distress.

But after reading Desire Me If You Can (Grayson's story), Dominant Alphas are no joke. They are super strong. Grayson literally tore a man in half. Meaning, Chase can also do all that...but it's never seen in the novel bc Josh is the action hero in their relationship haha.

Couldn't stand having the last 3 REALLY IMPORTANT chapters missing. I really wanted ppl to see just how cute Miaomiao and Mu Sheng are together and their happy ending. Mu Sheng just absolutely adores Miaomiao and will do anything for her.
