'I ship my rival × me'-- the novel and manhua are really similar, only difference is novel has the 18+ stuff. The novel is pretty simple but pretty good and it's not too long. The story is also 10/10, comedic and fluffy mostly. So I'd say it's a pretty good start for you.

Annoying Zhao Gongzi is a short comedic historical chinese novel set in the republic of china time period. u can find it on novel updates or on chrysanthemum garden. its a very short read so i think its a good starter if you want smth light and easy.

tsundere x tsundere couple, theyre both meant to be together cuz theyre BOTH little shits to each other lol. the ml may seem like an asshole at first but the mc is the definition of unreliable narrator lol i promise ml isnt that bad. he's an asshole in the "he just yells and says goofy shit all the time" way not in the hes a rapist kinda way btw. all bark and no bite basically. anyways theyre absolutely hilarious together i cant recommend this enough
